Sewing scraps to foundation paper allows you to get a consistent width without all the hard work. Come back to this channel to see what you can do with your scrap fabric strips. Adding machine tape is non-thermal. Register tape is thermal. Non thermal is preferred. Thermal paper can deteriorate over time or turn black. Adding machine tape is sturdy but still removes easily.
